Margaret Fuller Neighborhood House

Phoebe Heyman is the Food Pantry Manager at the Margaret Fuller Neighborhood House in Cambridge, MA, where the pantry distributes more than 10,000 pounds of food to over 400 different households each week. She is responsible for ordering and distribution logistics, managing program data and reports, directing the work of volunteers and pantry staff, and collaborating with partner organizations to support the community’s food needs. She is a long-term resident of the same Cambridge neighborhood where MFNH is located, and she loves that through her work she has deepened her connection to her local community.

Prior to working at MFNH, Phoebe spent much of her career in higher education administration, but she has also held diverse roles such as independent bookstore employee, moving company worker, house cleaner, and instructor in Russian language and literature. Outside of work, she likes to read, practice yoga, study political philosophy and spend time outdoors with her amazing cat Gracie.
