Liane Moody is the Executive Director of the Short Term Emergency Aid Committee, where she engages, educates, and organizes her local community to support their neighbors experiencing poverty. Liane has worked in nonprofits for over 11 years in Boston and California. She is committed to supporting families and individuals facing hardships and to building communities that care for each other.

Liane has a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Princeton University and master’s degree in Policy and Management from Harvard Graduate School of Education. She loves building systems, analyzing organizational issues, and solving problems for organizations that are committed to serving others.

Outside of work, Liane is an enthusiastic kickboxer, donning gloves and wraps and taking out her frustrations with punches and jump kicks at her local bag class. She also loves dancing, singing karaoke with her husband and daughters, and traveling around the world with her family.
