Overview

Celebrate the kickoff of New Sector Alliance’s 25th anniversary as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit during this special weekend gathering. Designed for current program participants, alumni, and supporters, this intimate and transformative in-person event will convene members of New Sector’s dynamic network of mission-driven leaders, alumni, and philanthropic partners from across sectors.

Participants will have the opportunity to:

• Connect with inspiring peers and mission-driven leaders across sectors

• Engage in meaningful learning experiences

• Participate in optional wellness and community-building activities

We encourage you to take full advantage of this convening by planning a summer getaway to refresh and recharge after the event concludes.

  Kickoff Reception and Dinner

  • 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM: Check-in and Mingling

  • 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM: Opening Session and Kickoff Reception

Costs

We recognize that financial barriers can prevent nonprofit leaders from participating in opportunities like this, and we are committed to ensuring the 2025 convening is accessible to all. To that end, there is no registration fee for attendees. 

We are actively seeking sponsorships to support program delivery, staffing, Fellow scholarships, and event-related costs for the convening.

Attendees are responsible for their travel to and from Boston, as well as securing local accommodations. To make your stay more convenient, we’ve partnered with The Boston Foundation to reserve a room block at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel directly across from the retreat’s primary venue.
