Bukola Ogunyemi is a strategic communications expert and social impact leader with 13 years of experience translating complex development challenges into movements that drive systemic change. He is driven by the conviction that talent should never go to waste due to circumstance, geographic or economic barriers.

At the World Bank Group's International Finance Corporation, Ogunyemi leads digital communications strategies that translate IFC's $90 billion private sector portfolio into compelling stories that engage stakeholders in emerging markets, achieving 300% audience growth across 45 channels. He also led communications for the World Bank Youth Summit, mobilizing young leaders from 100+ countries to design inclusive solutions for post-COVID global recovery. Concurrently, as Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Wole Ogunyemi Foundation since 2017, he has expanded educational access to over 10,000 beneficiaries, mobilized funding for 200+ first-generation college students, and forged partnerships with seven Nigerian state governments.

His previous experience includes pioneering organic social media fundraising strategies at the World Wildlife Fund to generate revenue for conservation efforts. Earlier, as head of digital communications at a public relations firm, he directed multi-country campaigns for multilateral clients across Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, and Ethiopia. His strategic counsel has been sought by Twitter's Global Curation Advisory Board on content moderation and the African Union on youth engagement and policy communication.

Dr. Ogunyemi holds a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership from the University of Massachusetts Global, a Master of Arts in Communication from Southern New Hampshire University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria.
