Salma Yehia is a research‑and‑evaluation specialist who blends rigorous data methods with a community‑centered lens. As Senior Research Analyst at The Possible Zone in Boston, she collaborates with engineers and program staff to shape the nonprofit’s data infrastructure, designs mixed‑methods studies that capture the voices of 500+ youth entrepreneurs each year, and distills findings into strategy briefings for boards, funders, and frontline educators.

Salma’s sector‑spanning career—covering nonprofit consulting, institutional research, ed‑tech, retail, and financial services—has sharpened her ability to translate complex data into human‑centered solutions. Technically fluent in R, SQL, Tableau, and automation tools, she has guided partners and nonprofits through data‑driven initiatives that advance educational equity and economic opportunity.

Beyond data work, Salma co‑founded M.Y.  Mosaic Events, an event‑planning service that supports Southwest Asia & North Africa (SWANA) culture through vibrant festivals and corporate gatherings. She also manages backend operations and community engagement for the Boston Dabke Troupe, leveraging cultural performance as a vehicle for social justice, coalition‑building, and humanitarian fundraising.

Fluent in English and Arabic, Salma holds a B.S. in Political Science from Boston University. As a member of the Leadership Longevity Fellowship’s national cohort, she is deepening her commitment to leadership models that weave data, storytelling, and cultural expression—whether on the dance floor, in a dashboard, or at the decision table.
