Lauren Reynolds is the Chief Equity and Inclusion Officer at the City of Bloomington, where she leads efforts to embed equity, inclusion and belonging into city policies, practices, and culture. With a strong background in public and private sector leadership, Lauren previously served as the Associate Director of External Partnerships in the Global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Office at UnitedHealth Group. From 2015 to 2022, she held the role of Director of Diversity Recruitment & Retention at the Minnesota Department of Human Services, where she played a key role in advancing systemic equity initiatives across statewide programs.

A native of Indiana, Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Indiana University-Bloomington and an MBA in Human Resources Management from Indiana Wesleyan University. She is a certified Diversity Professional through the Institute for Diversity Certification and holds an Executive Diversity Coaching certification from Howard University. Beyond her professional achievements, Lauren is an active community leader and was recognized as a 2020 Women in Business Honoree by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal, reflecting her commitment to fostering inclusive leadership and community engagement.
