Kenneth “Biz” Allen

Kenneth “Biz” Allen is a native of Gary, IN, and resides in Indianapolis, IN. He serves as an At-large Commissioner for Indianapolis Public Schools. Allen is a certified child and youth care worker with Indiana Youth Services Association and oversees the organization’s statewide anti-human trafficking awareness initiative. Allen is also the former Chair of the Indiana Commission on the Social Status of Black Males (ICSSBM), the current Vice Chair of the Indianapolis Commission on African American Males (ICAAM), a board member for the Indianapolis chapter of the Indiana Black Expo Inc., and has received more than 200 awards for his community service work in youth entrepreneurship and philanthropy. He has been named by the Central Indiana McDonalds, Indianapolis Recorder, and the Indiana Democrat party as a living history maker, In 2022 he was named 40 Under Forty by the Indianapolis Business Journal. He’s the father of two school-age children and enjoys traveling.
