Janelle joined the New Sector team in summer of 2018 as the Chicago Summer Program Director, and transitioned to the role of Special Projects Director later that same year. Janelle boasts a wealth of knowledge about the social sector, with over twenty years of experience working in nonprofit management and development in the Chicago area. Janelle holds an MA in Arts Administration and Policy from The School of Art Institute of Chicago and a BA in English from Northwestern University. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two young children.
