Carly founded New Sector in 2000 and served as CEO until 2013. She re-joined the organization in 2017 as executive chair. In addition to her role with New Sector, Carly currently serves on the leadership team of the Career Management Center at Stanford Graduate School of Business, where she oversees career development for MBA and mid-career students and alumni. Carly started her career in management consulting, serving clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to large nonprofits to public sector agencies. Her professional experience also includes serving as a co-founder of the Social Impact Practice at The Boston Consulting Group and an adjunct faculty member at Harvard University. Carly has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in economics, magna cum laude, from Princeton University. Carly’s hobbies include running, skiing, and spending time with her husband and two children.
