Aliana (Ally) Mediratta joined the New Sector team in the summer of 2022 to help copyedit, wordsmith, and smooth out details. Prior to this summer, her writing experience comes from her positions as a staff writer for her college and high school newspapers and as a creative writing enthusiast. She is a rising sophomore at Washington University in St. Louis, majoring in Women’s Gender and Sexuality Studies and minoring in Philosophy. Ally’s hobbies include reading, writing, knitting, and doing crossword puzzles.
