New Sector's leadership development programs recruit, train and support exceptionally talented Corps Members to build the capacity of nonprofit host sites meeting critical community needs:
New Sector's Summer Fellows Program helps organizations complete mission-critical projects in the areas of growth and scaling, operations, organizational development, performance measurement, strategy, and technology. New Sector partners with host sites to define compelling community needs that can be addressed at an organizational level and scope projects for Corps Members to tackle. We then pair exceptional Corps Members from colleges and universities across the country with professional consultant advisors and New Sector project managers to deliver high impact results. Organizations that host one of New Sector's Summer Fellow Corps Membershave unanimously reported that, as a direct result of a Corps Member's service, they are better able to meet the needs of the constituents in the communities they serve.
The New Sector Residency in Social Enterprise serves organizations by recruiting, training, and supporting competitively-selected recent college graduate and young professional Corps Members to complete projects in all practice areas over the course of a full year. Residents spend a minimum of 1700 hours on their projects, serving with the support of professional consultant advisors and New Sector project managers. Over the course of the year, Residents participate in an intensive MBA-style civic engagement curriculum taught with input and participation from faculty from top business schools, experienced consultants, and leading social enterprise practitioners. After their Residency year, Corps Members remain connected to their host site organizations and communities as they pursue careers in social impact.

New Sector's Custom Recruitment and Professional Development services help clients hire and train talent leveraging our extensive partnership network of academic institutions, consulting firms, and program alumni. New Sector partners with clients to define new roles, access new talent pools, screen and identify the best candidates for specific positions, and train key leaders.
